What is The Body Code®?
Body Code is a complete healing modality created by Dr. Bradley Nelson, which contains 2 other healing systems: Emotion Code & Belief Code. All three are noninvasive, gentle tools to access your subconscious mind to identify and locate imbalances and blockages in your body, mind and spirit.
Because this work is centered around energy, it often picks up imbalances and problems that go undetected by mainstream techniques.
The stark difference that sets this system apart from others is that it heals imbalances entirely once - they do not return, and the client does not need to recall or re-live traumatic experiences or events for traumas, imbalances, blockages & misalignments to be completely released. This clearing occurs using the same energetic principles as acupuncture & Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Complete healing occurs by identifying and clearing/releasing.
As we all have a lifetime of experiences, trapped emotions become like the layers of an onion to be cleared. With each session, we clear trapped emotions from myriad life events and correct imbalances to restore the body’s ability to heal itself and the root causes of issues - which may resolve symptoms.
Are all Body Code practitioners certified in all 3 healing systems?
No. To be certified in Body Code, you must first be certified in Emotion Code. To earn certification in Belief Code, you must first be certified in Emotion Code, then Body Code, and then Belief Code.
What is energy healing?
Everything is made up of energy - our bodies, our homes, the chair you’re sitting on, the apple you just ate, and the world around us. When you experience a trauma (physically, mentally, emotionally or spiritually), that experience or feeling can get trapped or imprinted on your subconscious. This can have a negative influence on your thoughts and the way you feel and think.
My work locates and releases these energetic blocks in your system. With time, this changes your view of yourself, the world and the beliefs that hold you back and keep you stuck in various parts of your life.
How does it work?
In a session with your permission, I use muscle testing on your behalf to ask your subconscious mind simple yes/no questions to identify where imbalances lie. Muscle testing is a reliable form of biofeedback, also called applied kinesiology, that can identify problems often undetected by mainstream techniques and conventional Western medicine. Once identified, I clear each one using the principles of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine (without the needles!). It’s that straightforward. And it works. I do not claim to heal anything, but I have seen very positive results.
Everything is energy: you, your loved ones, the seat you’re sitting in, the sky you’re gazing at, the device you’re holding. This is the realm of Quantum Physics, the field of study in which Albert Einstein lived and breathed. While energy is as real as the presence of your arm, it can’t be seen with our eyes. This is challenging for our brains to comprehend in our society.
Many people evolve to understand that energy is real, despite not being visible. All you need to do is experience it and remain open, and a whole new world will open to you. The more we can leave behind skepticism and judgment, and stay unguarded and curious, the more we’re able to see and feel. I love the book Secrets of Aboriginal Healing: A Physicist’s Journey With a Remote Australian Tribe, which is centered around a culture in which these principles are the norm.

What can I expect during a session?
Body Code/Belief Code sessions take 20-30 minutes over the phone. With coaching, a session lasts up to 60 minutes. We discuss your goals, any issues that are going on, and I move through a system to identify imbalances, then clear them.
After a session, most people feel lighter, a sense of relaxation, calm, and at times a touch of sleepiness. It’s important to hydrate throughout the day. Most people, including myself, report sleeping extremely soundly that evening.
Please note there are rare instances where your subconscious does not give permission for me to work with you at that time. This can be due to your body needing to use its resources elsewhere, like fighting off a bug or illness, needing sleep, etc. We never want to stress the body and thankfully, your subconscious will let us know. To put it in perspective, in 9 years of receiving this work as a client, this has happened for me twice. Payment is due for this scheduled time.
How frequently should I have a session?
Most clients have a session once a week or once every other week. If you are working through something acute, meeting more often than once a week can sometimes accelerate your results.
By keeping your system in balance and free from obstructions, and your life force energy flowing optimally, your state of wellbeing rises and you may feel health-full and vibrant on a consistent basis. Sleep often becomes sounder, deeper, and you wake feeling rested. Your digestion and bodily systems may function better, your immunity may increase. You stay more on track with goals and your dreams, you function and perform more efficiently and effectively. When we are in balance, free from interference, we are our truest, most powerful, happiest selves.
What is coaching?
What makes coaching so profoundly impactful is that by asking the right skillful questions, the most profound answers emerge from the client themself. As a client of coaching for years, this is what got me hooked and made me want to learn these skills to help others.

Do you work remotely, in person, etc?
My goal is to make clients comfortable and for them to have access to my work amidst the hectic day-to-day schedules most people face. Typically, we will first meet on Zoom for an initial discovery call to get acquainted and answer questions. Then my sessions are usually by telephone so you can have sessions at the office, at home lying on your couch, outside in nature, wherever you like. I also offer email sessions when you’re pressed for time - it’s the exact same process as on the phone, at a scheduled time, with an emailed report afterwards.
I reserve very limited availability for concierge sessions where I travel to your home or business for our sessions. If interested, please be in touch.
My husband/daughter/boyfriend/ mother/etc. doesn’t want to book their own session, but I wholeheartedly believe it would benefit them and our relationship. Can you work on my loved ones?
Yes, with their permission I am happy to work on your loved ones who do not want to have a session one-on-one. For anyone 18+ years old, I need their permission. If they do not offer their permission, it is not ethical to work on them.
This work is just as effective with children and animals, for whom your consent as their caregiver is sufficient for me to conduct a session.
